Our Client is a global MNC and a leader in the industrial sector they operate in. They are currently seeking a Regional Finance Project Controlling Analyst to join their expanding team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in providing expert assistance and advice on project financial establishment, internal contracting, and ensuring the financial integrity and success of projects across the region.

About the Job

Reporting to the VP finance, the Regional Finance Project Controlling Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the financial management and successful delivery of projects within the region. Working closely with Business Unit Heads, Project Managers, and Finance teams, you will:

1. Develop and maintain project budgets and forecasts.
2. Perform variance analysis and provide valuable financial insights.
3. Ensure accurate and timely project cost tracking and reporting.
4. Monitor expenses and revenues for compliance, addressing financial discrepancies in collaboration with project managers.
5. Manage the tracking of back charges to overseas headquarters.
6. Monitor project statuses and assist with bank guarantee processes.
7. Prepare and upload project data, updating project reports and supporting project forecasting efforts.
8. Oversee the financial aspects of projects across various Business Units, ensuring alignment with financial strategies and objectives.
9. Present comprehensive financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Skills and Experience Required

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or relevant disciplines with professional qualifications.
• Relevant years of experience in project finance, accounting, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in ERP (e.g., SAP, Dynamics AX) and Excel would be highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated energy, initiative, and ability to think and act independently.
• Good knowledge of internal accounting processes with the ability to exercise discretion.
• Proven ability to take ownership of the role and achieve goals.
