- Adecco is recruiting an experienced Regional Finance Manager for a multinational manufacturing and wholesale trading firm.
- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Regional Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations, ensure timely reporting, and lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. This role is also in charge of budgeting, forecasting, statutory compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
Main duties & responsibilities
- Oversee local and consolidated financial reporting for overseas entities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage day-to-day finance operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Lead the monthly and quarterly closing processes and management reports.
- Prepare and analyze financial forecasts and actual results, providing insights and recommendations on key financial matters such as cash flow and working capital.
- Coordinate and review budget preparation, including mid-year updates and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including timely preparation of GST returns and corporate tax filings.
- Promote continuous improvement by enhancing the team's financial knowledge, time management, and operational efficiency.
- Support finance transformation initiatives, including process automation and system enhancements.
- Lead the preparation and review of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders to support audit, tax, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Serve as a key liaison for senior management and stakeholders, addressing financial queries and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the finance team to support performance and capability development.
The Talent Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in finance and cost accounting, preferably in a regional or group reporting capacity.
- Prior audit experience and hands-on involvement in stocktake/inventory management are advantageous.
- Proficient in SAP
- Experience working with multi-country entities and cross-functional teams
- Proven experience in leading and managing a finance team.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and lead a team effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-disciplined, and hands-on with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
