Roles & Responsibilities

Overview of the Role:

Manage the Regional Finance team with oversight of the full spectrum of financial management for the region, including monthly financial and reporting activities, consolidation, forecasting, budgeting, cashflow, debt financing, tax and audit matters, regional projects management and insurance matters.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare cashflow projections, monthly forecast and annual cash budget, monitor working capital and other treasury related matters.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with banks, investors to ensure optimal financing options.
  • Lead the finance team in preparing monthly consolidation for the group.
  • Supervise the preparation of financial statements, tax filings and audits in collaboration with external auditors and tax agents.
  • Review monthly financial and management reports and analysis to parent company.
  • Organise the annual budget preparation for multiple subsidiaries, ensure alignment with the group's strategic objectives.
  • Handle insurance matters for the group.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and monitor business flow.
  • Support regional projects.
  • Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by supervisors/ the head of department from time to time.

Requirement

  • Master/Degree in Finance & Accounting from a prestige institution.
  • Experience in manufacturing industry on a bigger scale is advantageous
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience starting out in Big 4 / accounting roles will be a plus.
  • Hold a CA/CPA or equivalent and have comprehensive oversight of accounting, finance, governance, and business partnerships. Experience managing a regional team is advantageous.
  • You are a strong communicator, effectively bilingual to work with key stakeholders in China is a must.
  • Attention to details, analytical, meticulous and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage multi priorities, good time management and should be highly organized.
