Job description

A well-established leader in the manufacturing industry is looking for an experienced and driven Finance Manager to lead and manage finance operations across its regional entities. This is a leadership role with full oversight of financial reporting, FP&A, internal controls, and compliance, with a strong business partnering component.

You will play a key role in supporting the regional leadership team on strategic planning, maintaining robust financial governance, and continuously improving processes to elevate the performance of the Asia finance function.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Operations & Reporting: Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
  • FP&A and Business Support: Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes. Deliver clear financial insights to support commercial decisions and long-term planning.
  • Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure strong internal controls and adherence to compliance standards. Coordinate audits and support tax and transfer pricing matters in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Stakeholder Management & Business Partnering: Act as a strategic finance partner to regional and cross-functional teams, building alignment and driving value-added decision-making.
  • Process Improvements & Systems: Identify and implement finance process improvements, automation, and system enhancements to improve operational efficiency and data quality.

The ideal candidate will hold a CA/CPA qualification and a degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 12 years of relevant Finance Controllership experience. Industry-specific experience from trading or manufacturing will be highly valued, with proven leadership experience. Ideally have experience using Oracle or SAP, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
