As an E-Commerce Marketplace Manager, you will define and enable the marketplace strategy to deliver NPP AOA's growth ambitions and overall ecommerce success. Through collaboration, the EC Marketplace Manager will support, educate, and guide relevant markets and stakeholders to realize the ePetshops strategy and increase our online market share on marketplaces. The goal is to drive awareness, trial, and online sales growth across key ePetshops customers.
A day in the life of an E-Commerce Marketplace Manager:
- Define and drive the overall ePetshop sales and marketing strategy for NPP AOA brands, considering competition, trends, and category complexity in each country.
- Develop the online ePetshop go-to-market and category growth strategies, collaborating across markets and stakeholders, including creating JBP frameworks and ways of working with ePetshops and marketplaces.
- Provide online category insights and strategies to support recruitment efforts.
- Align with the broader eCommerce strategy and category development, defining local deployment plans.
- Translate category management strategies into growth initiatives, including joint business plans with ePetshops.
- Create ePetshops mapping and dashboards to monitor performance and identify new potential partners.
- Support markets in establishing ePetshops classification based on relevant criteria.
- Assist markets in mapping marketplace ePetshops (prospective and current) and collecting market trend data.
- Build regional relationships with platform 3P Marketplace teams to accelerate ePetshops sales growth.
- Support internal stakeholder relationships and coordinate onboarding with distributors, 3PL, local customers, marketplaces, agencies, and customer care teams.
- Collaborate with ASEAN eCommerce Leads to align sales and marketing strategies for ePetshops.
- Ensure consistent brand online execution with key partners and alignment with the overall eCommerce strategy.
- Lead eContent strategy and deliverables, working with regional Content Managers to develop and disseminate content ensuring brand imagery consistency.
What makes you successful?
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Over 5 years’ experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, merchandising, etc.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce and digital platforms.
- Experience working with online marketplaces such as Lazada, Shopee, etc.
- Experience in managing online business for direct stores (.com) and shop-in-shops in marketplaces or retail.com is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding and management of all e-Commerce metrics.
- Expertise in strategy and planning, as well as execution of demand generation, merchandising, and marketing programs to grow online business.
- Hands-on knowledge of lead generation best practices and a proven track record of delivering qualified traffic from acquisition to conversion.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
