Regional Cyber Security Manager

Location: Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Up to $12,000

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Cyber Security Manager to lead our cybersecurity governance and risk initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping and implementing our cybersecurity roadmap, driving compliance, managing risks, and ensuring the resilience of our systems and data assets.

You will lead a regional team of security professionals, working closely with senior leadership, IT, and business stakeholders to embed robust security controls across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

Cybersecurity Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide cybersecurity frameworks aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS standards.

  • Define, enforce, and continuously improve security policies, procedures, and best practices across APAC operations.

Risk Management & Regulatory Compliance

  • Identify and assess cybersecurity risks and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure regional compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements (e.g., PDPA, GDPR, MAS TRM Guidelines).

  • Coordinate periodic security audits, assessments, and remediation plans.

Incident Response & Threat Management

  • Lead incident response activities, including breach investigations and post-mortem analysis.

  • Oversee Security Operations Centre (SOC) activities and manage threat monitoring and response.

  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing efforts.

Security Infrastructure & Tools

  • Manage key security infrastructure such as firewalls, SIEM platforms, antivirus, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.

  • Oversee IAM, MFA, and encryption technologies to protect corporate data and systems.

Stakeholder Engagement & Awareness

  • Act as a cybersecurity advisor to senior management and cross-functional teams.

  • Drive company-wide security awareness campaigns, training, and phishing simulations.

  • Collaborate with business and IT to ensure security is embedded into all projects and initiatives.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor a team of approx. 12 cybersecurity professionals across the region.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and high performance within the cybersecurity team.

  • Plan and scale cybersecurity resources to meet evolving business needs.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including at least 3 years in a regional leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS) and regulatory standards (e.g., PDPA, GDPR, MAS TRM).

  • Proven incident response and threat management expertise.

  • Hands-on experience with security tools and infrastructure (firewalls, SIEM, IAM, etc.).

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISA are highly preferred.
