Job description

Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting and maintaining regional compute infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments. Key areas include server administration, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and resource optimization. Ensures performance, security, and compliance standards are met while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support enterprise systems. Plays a key role in capacity planning, incident response, and continuous improvement of compute operations within PISCAP’s enterprise infrastructure landscape.

Job Description:

  1. Compute Infrastructure Management: Administer and maintain compute infrastructure, including servers (on-prem/cloud), storage, backup, disaster recovery, and data centers to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

  2. System Administration & Security: Manage various OS platforms (Windows and non-Windows), oversee identity and access management, and ensure security controls, compliance, and regular audit practices are in place.

  3. Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor resource utilization, conduct load testing, implement performance tuning, and support capacity planning and system upgrades.

  4. Incident & Service Management: Respond to incidents and service requests, troubleshoot technical issues, and escalate complex problems following standard procedures.

  5. Collaboration & Integration: Work closely with the Compute Lead, solution teams, and stakeholders to integrate compute infrastructure with enterprise systems and applications.

  6. Reporting & Mentorship: Maintain operational reports, support audit readiness, and mentor regional teams in automation, cloud technologies, and infrastructure best practices.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in system administration or compute infrastructure roles.

  2. Strong knowledge of server management, Windows OS, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and scripting.

  3. Experience with cloud technologies (hybrid, private, or public), and M365 compliance and security features.

  4. Familiar with compute planning, OS patching, reporting, and endpoint/cloud security (e.g., zero trust).

  5. Proven ability to support MNC or regional environments (APAC experience a plus).

  6. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Azure, AWS, ITIL, CompTIA) preferred.
