Job summary

BOEHRINGER INGELHEIM SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Commercial Quality Manager for ROPU ASKAN to ensure effective QMS implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement in line with GMP/GDP and BI standards.

The role provides centralized quality support to OPUs and supports regional CQ strategy and QMS oversight. You will manage quality systems, audits, CAPA oversight, training, KPI tracking, and act as system owner for core quality tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Science or related field.
• 8–12 years quality experience in pharmaceutical/biologics/medical devices MNC.
• 5+ years Commercial Quality experience; at least 3 years in-country; regional exp is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of GDP/GMP regulations with practical expertise in commercial quality operations in pharma.
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Go-track, VQD is an advantage.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well in team and independently; attention to detail; sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ROPU ASKAN QMS and prepare for corporate audit readiness.
• Provide CQ input on quality issues and ensure product supply continuity.
• As Local MSO, SME, administrator and key user for Quality System Management and SOPs/Working Instructions.
• Create and maintain quality system documents; ensure training is performed and documented.
• Ensure system records, KPIs, and changes are tracked and communicated.
• Represent ROPU CQ and coordinate with Global Quality Organization; escalate topics as needed.
