A leading subsea IRM service provider in Singapore is seeking a Commercial Manager to support the commercial development of subsea services. Job Summary

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Commercial Manager will support the commercial development and execution of the company’s subsea services and diving systems portfolio. This role involves managing key client relationships, coordinating tender processes, and ensuring commercial deliverables are aligned with business and operational goals. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in offshore subsea projects, good business acumen, and a hands-on approach to driving growth within defined strategic parameters.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Execution & Support

  • Support the implementation of commercial strategies in line with overall business objectives.
  • Coordinate and prepare proposals, bids, and tender submissions for offshore subsea and diving-related projects.
  • Assist in reviewing and negotiating contracts, including terms and pricing, under guidance from the Commercial Director.
  • Monitor contract compliance, cost control, and profitability across awarded projects.
  • Assist in developing pricing models and financial analysis to support commercial decisions.

Market & Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key clients, partners, and vendors.
  • Attend client meetings, conferences, and presentations to represent the company and support business development activities.
  • Monitor market trends and identify potential opportunities in coordination with the Commercial Director.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal departments including Engineering, Projects, and Operations to ensure bid and project alignment.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing between business units to strengthen commercial competitiveness.
  • Track and report on commercial KPIs and pipeline performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil) or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial or business development roles within offshore subsea construction, underwater contracting, or SURF/subsea operations.
  • Experience in preparing tender packages, managing client accounts, and supporting contract negotiations.
