A leading logistics recruitment firm is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to drive regional sales strategies in container services. The role involves collaborating with operations leaders to enhance service capacity, coach a high-performing team, and maintain robust customer relationships. Candidates should possess a degree and significant experience in the logistics or depot operations industry.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior operations leaders to assess depot utilization and identify service capacity gaps
Design and implement tailored sales strategies by location, aligning with market needs, depot capabilities, and margin targets
Strengthen and expand customer portfolios, offering consultative solutions that address evolving client requirements
Identify new opportunities through market intelligence, while nurturing strong relationships with key client stakeholders
Lead offer development, price structuring, and commercial proposal submissions with speed and precision
Define, track, and report on sales performance metrics, SLAs, and KPIs
Own sales budgeting and contribute to annual forecasting based on customer demand and depot potential
Guide contract discussions with clients, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with internal risk frameworks
Remain current with sector trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies influencing regional logistics and supply chain dynamics
Coach and develop a high-performing commercial team while ensuring alignment across internal departments for service excellence
Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferably with a logistics or industrial services focus)
Minimum 5 years of commercial leadership experience within the container services, logistics, or depot operations industry
Proven background in sales or business development at a managerial level
Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to manage complex customer relationships
Experienced in market-led pricing strategies and contract management
Familiarity with depot operations and service-based business models is highly advantageous
Able to travel regionally up to 50%
