Role Mission (Regional Business Head - Hardlines South East Asia Region)
Build, scale, and operate Opptra’s Electronics & General Merchandise (Hardlines) business across Southeast Asia. The role requires setting up and optimizing both online and offline channels, building strategic partnerships, and delivering strong commercial outcomes in complex, multi-country markets.
Key Outcomes: Establish strategic partnerships with the top distributors, enablers, and intermediaries in each country within the first 6 months.
Launch and scale both online and offline sales channels across six Southeast Asian markets scaling revenues within the first 12 months.
Optimize product listings, pricing, and promotions across major e-commerce platforms to achieve top-three category rankings.

Functional Competencies
Channel Management : Proven ability to launch and grow both online (e-commerce, D2C) and offline (retail, distribution) sales channels in Southeast Asia.
• Business Development : Strong track record of building partnerships with distributors, enablers, and intermediaries across diverse markets.
• Analytical Skills : Data-driven approach to optimizing sales, marketing, and operational processes.
• Negotiation & Commercial Acumen : Skilled in negotiating favorable terms with partners and managing P&L.
• People Leadership & Execution : Ability to lead a cross-functional team across the SEA region, set clear KPIs, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Regional experience Fluency : Deep understanding of Southeast Asian markets, consumer behavior, and regulatory landscape.
• Adaptability : Comfortable operating in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.
