Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sales and business development across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Local Transportation, and Warehousing.
- Conduct customer presentations and frequent sales trips across Southeast Asia and Australia to drive market expansion.
- Promote customer retention, cross-selling, and upselling across existing accounts.
- Build and lead a high-performing Business Development team, ensuring achievement of monthly and semi-annual revenue and profit targets.
- Develop and execute a regional supply chain strategy, establishing the company as a leading logistics provider in SEA and Australia.
- Collaborate with procurement to monitor freight trends and secure competitive rates and reliable space.
- Monitor and report on sales performance through regular internal meetings (weekly, monthly, semi-annually).
- Manage the regional sales opportunity pipeline and ensure alignment with Go-To-Market strategies by country/region.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 15+ years of logistics experience, including 5+ years in business development or sales.
- Proven leadership in a global freight forwarding company, with experience managing large-scale contracts and global accounts.
- Strong knowledge of logistics systems (FIS, WMS, TMS) and MS Office (advanced level).
- Excellent understanding of Air, Ocean, Land transport, and Warehousing services.
- Strong industry network in SEA and Australia (local transport, air, ocean).
- Skilled in team leadership, sales strategy, negotiation, and client communication.
- Track record of business growth, team development, and consistent achievement of KPIs.
