Role: Brand Manager

This role is responsible for supporting the marketing strategy and long-term vision for the brand at a central level and guiding key markets to maximize local opportunities. Brand Managers must be able to engage and inspire both cross-functionally and within local markets.

A day in the life of a Brand Manager…

  1. Analyze business and consumer trends, identify key issues, and develop innovative brand plans.
  2. Demonstrate strong consumer insights, strategic brand building capabilities, and effective project management skills.
  3. Implement growth strategies through a 3-year brand plan and annual implementation plan (ICP). Develop or apply brand essence, vision, and manifesto, aligned locally or globally.
  4. Create strategies to succeed at the first and second moments of truth (product and packaging).
  5. Develop effective brand strategies in collaboration with the category team to delight shoppers.
  6. Responsible for developing the OBI, Big Idea, Campaign Idea, engagement strategies, and tracking effectiveness, with support from the Marketing Manager.
  7. Identify new, consumer insight-driven, innovative ideas to drive brand growth. Develop new product ideas, renovations, and long-term pipeline strategies.
  8. Lead the main cluster of markets for the brand, identifying gaps and opportunities, and creating synergies for efficient business growth.
  9. Identify market gaps and opportunities, creating win-win situations to meet overall business objectives.
  10. Ensure cross-functional alignment on brand strategies and implementation plans.
  11. Collaborate with other brand teams and functions to meet overall business goals and develop strategies accordingly.
  12. Work closely with PTC, TAG, and R&D teams to develop products that meet palatability and digestibility targets, address trends, are cost-competitive, and sustainable by design.

What will make you successful

  • Degree in Digital/Communications/Marketing or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and/or demand generation functions at Nestlé or similar FMCG companies.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Successful project management experience.
  • Proven success in achieving goals through collaboration.
  • Experience in brief writing, agency management, and executing creative campaigns.
