Job summary

Shopee is seeking a Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights across business units in Singapore. You will gather requirements from product, marketing, and operations, translate them into data solutions, and deliver dashboards to provide visibility on performance.

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, build scalable reports using SQL, Python, Excel, and PySpark where needed, and present findings to influence business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience handling large data with SQL and Python.
• Proficient in Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience translating business problems into data solutions; data science knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in e-Commerce or internet industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and translate into data solutions.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into concrete questions and hypotheses to be solved using data-driven multi-disciplinary problem-solving approaches.
• Work with various partner teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards/reports to effectively provide visibility on business performance for business stakeholders.
• Leverage on data expertise and business understanding to perform analysis and provide insights to influence business decisions & hypotheses.
