Job summary

Shopee Singapore is seeking a BI professional to drive data-driven improvements. As part of the Business Intelligence - Product and Data Analytics team you will manage metrics in a central data mart and coordinate with finance and local teams.

You will translate business requirements into actionable data tasks for the Data PM/Data Engineer/Data Analyst, design feasible data solutions, ensure accurate metrics, and engage multiple stakeholders across teams in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in any discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and manage timelines and priorities effectively.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts and implications in simple manner.
• Proficiency in SQL and basic understanding of data architecture and data engineering.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment.
• Detail-oriented and proactive attitude towards problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall project management, planning, progress and deliverables for key metrics in a centralised data mart.
• Evaluate and understand the requirements of business users and translate them into actionable tasks for data teams (Data PM / Data Engineer / Data Analyst).
• Collaborate with data teams to design and implement feasible solutions with optimal data structure.
• Ensure logic change requests are implemented in the data marts accurately and reflect up-to-date business definitions.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of key metrics maintained in the data marts.
• Prioritise tasks, align timelines and manage expectations of stakeholders across different teams.
• Proactively identify issues and gaps from both business and technical sides, and propose optimisation solutions.
