Regional Analyst – Financing & Working Capital (European MNC)
Our client is a leading European listed logistics organisation with presence in more than 30 countries worldwide.
As part of their expansion plans, they are looking to hire a regional analyst in the finance and working capital area, reporting to the Regional Head of Treasury based in Singapore.
Purpose / Objective of Position
The Regional Analyst – Financing & Working Capital, APAC is responsible for:
- Providing visibility to cash flow performance through analyzing the balance sheet drivers and raising awareness to budget variances.
- Co-ordination of all assigned tasks relating to cash management & financial decision support (including modelling and presentation as required), executing ad-hoc projects as needed.
Roles and Responsibilities & KPIs
- Support financial review processes including balance sheet review, planning, forecasting and ad-hoc analysis.
- Support credit control / risks monitoring & the maintenance of the collection & credit management tool.
- Coordinate with APAC entities on their financing needs (e.g. Corporate guarantees renewals, Cash pool participation).
- Assist with the preparation of annual working capital budgets and periodic cash forecasts.
- Work with data source providers to ensure:
1) data is accurate, complete and
2) databases (e.g. Corporate guarantees, bank accounts) are updated timely.
- Support the regional finance team in ad-hoc projects as well as continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge and Experience
Education/ Professional Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in a MNC environment and preferred in a regional role.
- Experience with month end General Ledger closing and reporting.
- Highly analytical and detail oriented.
- Experience in accounting / credit control software implementation will be advantageous.
