Job Overview
The Regional Account Manager (RAM), Research Solutions is responsible for research sales development (direct and indirect) in a geographically defined territory, focused on customers that conduct and/or contribute to Research in our field (Rehabilitation Centers, Universities and Sports Institutions, Military etc.). The jobholder contributes to the growth of the company by delivering exceptional customer service to existing customers and applying superior selling skills to develop new leads and convert them into new sales and customers.
Responsibilities (tasks & objectives)
The assigned function includes but is not limited to the following main tasks:
Present, promote and generate sales of products and ensure representation of our company in defined geographical area
Consult with the customer to supply the best solution we can offer and with that establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Achieve agreed or above agreed sales targets
Analyze the territory/market’s potential and develop the market accordingly by defining and implementing marketing and sales strategies
Establish new sales channels
Execute promotional workshops, conferences and other events
Provide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitiveactivities, and potential for new products and services.
Build a strong network for our company by consulting and discussing portfolio solutions with leading opinion leaders and clinicians in the designated region
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Coordinate sales efforts with regional team members and other departments
Ensure and track sales performance within our CRM by managing leads, opportunities and all other KPI’s like actions, meeting notes, business plans, targets to establish sales excellence
Ensure and foster transparent efficient communication and reporting within the organization
Qualifications (skills, education & experience)
MSc degree in Business, Human Movement Science, Sports Medicines or Biomedical / Biomechanical engineering
5+ Marketing and sales experience in medical devices field, preferably robotic rehabilitation and gait assessment devices
A proven track record in operational and strategic selling positions in an international environment
An existing network in the respective regions within gait or motion analysis community
Experience with capital projects management
Great people skills with a high level of assertiveness
Strong analytical, strategic and coordinating skills
Sound knowledge and understanding of business and technology
Outstanding communication, influencing negotiation and presentation skills
Fluency in the English language (spoken and written), other languages are a plusespecially Chinese/Mandarin
