As a Pricing Data Analyst within Global Valuation Services team, you will be responsible for capturing and validating security prices used to calculate and submit daily and monthly Net Asset Values (NAVs). You will work closely with various teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Your role is essential in maintaining data quality and supporting the success of our operations.

Job responsibilities:

  • Capture and validate daily security prices for NAV calculations
  • Produce and analyze valuation movements within client portfolios
  • Perform daily pricing and validation of all investment assets
  • Review price confirmation collection within the department
  • Analyze price movements against market expectations
  • Provide subject matter expertise support to downstream teams and clients
  • Liaise with pricing vendors and brokers to resolve issues and minimize risk
  • Complete all tasks and reporting accurately and to deadline
  • Resolve client queries promptly and professionally
  • Participate in client meetings and escalate issues to supervisors
  • Contribute to ongoing developments of the pricing control process

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines
  • At least one year of work experience
  • Basic knowledge of pricing vendors, such as Bloomberg and Reuters
  • Understanding of industry activities, including corporate actions and stock markets
  • Ability to understand the impact of price changes on market value
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work under pressure
  • Interest in stocks, bonds, options, and financial markets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups
  • Effective communication within a team environment
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be open to flexible working hours to cover early starts and/or late finishes as demanded by the business

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Prior experience in the Asset Pricing or Fund Accounting roles will be beneficial
  • Prior experience in Banking Operations related role will be an advantage
