Hurda Recycling Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Yard Worker to lead a small team in daily recycling operations in Singapore. You will sort, weigh, store materials, and ensure safety and organisation in the yard while coordinating with drivers and office staff.

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience, forklift operation certification, and practical knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in recycling, scrapyard, or industrial operations.
• Forklift operator certification required.
• Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Willing to perform daily physical yard work.
• Ability to guide a small team and follow management instructions.
• Basic stock-record keeping using paper forms or Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Actively carry out loading, unloading, sorting, weighing, and moving scrap metals.
• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials safely.
• Identify and grade common ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Guide workers on daily tasks and check that work is completed properly.
• Check incoming and outgoing materials against weighing records.
• Maintain basic stock records and provide daily updates to the office.
• Coordinate loading and unloading with drivers.
• Operate basic recycling equipment after appropriate training and authorisation.
• Maintain good housekeeping, follow safety procedures, and report equipment faults promptly.
