Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree holder
• 2–5 years hands-on experience in a material recycling plant or similar facility
• Knowledge of metal grades (ferrous and non-ferrous) and scrap identification
• Experience with loading/unloading, sorting, and machine-based segregation
• Familiar with ISO and workplace safety standards

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations at recycling facilities across Singapore
• Operate and oversee recycling equipment such as shears and cable strippers
• Ensure proper grading, classification and processing of metal scrap materials
• Monitor and enforce workplace safety per NEA and MOM regulations
• Coordinate with logistics and trading teams for material inflow/outflow
• Maintain accurate stock records and real-time inventory in Excel/ERP
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and escalate repair needs
• Provide technical guidance to site staff and workers
• Liaise with transport contractors and suppliers for smooth operations
• Submit daily reports on stock availability and machine usage
