About the Team:

The Shopee Commercial Recruitment Team drives hiring for both fresh graduates and experienced professionals, ensuring we bring in top talent to power Shopee’s business growth. We manage end-to-end recruitment for commercial functions across Singapore and our regional teams, covering a wide range of roles including Business Analysts, Business Intelligence, Business Development, Marketing, Strategy, Product Managers, Logistics and more. From vibrant campus outreach programs to targeted senior-level searches, we always match the right people with the right opportunities.

Beyond filling roles, we partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs, provide market insights, and craft hiring strategies that attract the best. Our team takes pride in creating a smooth and positive candidate experience, building long-term relationships, and representing Shopee’s culture in every interaction.

The People team plays a crucial organisational role in Shopee by channeling important resources to key functions in the company. People are key to Shopee’s growth, and as our business expands, so does the need to develop and support our employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for commercial functions, including but not limited to Business Analysts, Business Intelligence, Business Development, Marketing, Strategy, and Product Managers
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements, advise on market trends, and define recruitment strategies
  • Source candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and campus outreach
  • Screen and assess candidates to ensure strong role fit and culture alignment
  • Coordinate interviews and provide timely updates to candidates and stakeholders
  • Conceptualise, drive and evaluate talent recruitment-related initiatives that will contribute to long-term improvements in the team’s objectives, productivity and development
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data and reports to track progress and hiring metrics
  • Represent Shopee’s brand and culture in all candidate interactions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with relevant recruitment work experience or internships (Open to Fresh Graduates)
  • Passion for people, organisational, and cultural transformation
  • Highly motivated self-starter with independent decision-making abilities and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, able to quickly evaluate situations, combine strong business judgement and people intuition to reach well-founded decisions
  • Strong communication skills and able to work in a dynamic environment
  • Team player and resourceful with a positive can-do attitude
  • Strong understanding of regional talent markets is a plus
  • Experience in regional roles and/or in large technology companies, and working with senior stakeholders, is a plus
