Job Description
- Main Duty - Customer Service Duty (mindset has to meet the realistic challenges and demands of a Primary School setting)
- Answer phone calls, manage visitors, take messages, respond to enquiries, and provide general useful information in a dynamic environment with high call volume.
- Use school-implemented IT systems for administrative purposes.
- Handle daily varied demands and queries from parents, students, vendors, and staff.
- Call pupils who are absent and check with parents on their child's status every morning.
- Call pupils to convey messages during ad-hoc or special events.
- Provide first-level assistance to walk-in pupils, including handling sick or injured pupils, and escalate cases beyond superficial issues to colleagues.
- Assist with situations such as pupils vomiting or soiling their clothes.
General Duties
- Assist in canteen matters, utility tasks, FAS applications, arrears fee, bus bookings, etc.
- Update the school activity notice board in the office, ensuring data accuracy.
- Maintain the forms cabinet, keeping all forms current and replenished.
- Assist with general typing duties.
- Manage store supplies during school holidays.
- Support other administrative duties as required.
The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Full GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level certificate or equivalent.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for reception duties, preferably in a school environment.
- Good team player with a high level of initiative.
