Job summary

A leading staffing company is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to manage reception duties and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a GCE O Level/N Level qualification and experience in front desk operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth communication and support for visitors, enhancing the overall experience at the educational institution.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years relevant experience in front desk operations or customer service.

Other Information

  • Working location: Islandwide

  • Working hours: Mondays to Thursdays - 7:00am to 4:30pm / Friday - 7:00am to 4:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Manage the reception counter and keep the reception area tidy, organized and receive visitors (including parents, students, teachers, vendors, etc.) and provide customer service support to them in a professional and prompt manner

  • Manage incoming phone calls, screen and redirect calls to the relevant personnel or taking messages and scheduling appointments to facilitate effective communication between school personnel

  • Sort and manage incoming and outgoing mails and courier deliveries to ensure timely correspondence

  • Process early student departures

  • Provide basic first aid to unwell students and contact parents when necessary

Requirements

  • Minimum GCE O Level / N Level qualification

  • At least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in front desk operations or customer service

  • Experience in a Ministry of Education (MOE) school environment will be an added advantage

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor suitable for a front-facing role

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet applications

  • Able to operate standard office equipment such as scanners, photocopiers, and printers efficiently
