Job summary

TikTok is seeking an Algorithm Engineer Graduate for its Global Live - Strategy team in Singapore. You will join a high-performance, distributed live streaming platform and work on model-driven and data-driven strategies to improve LIVE revenue and user engagement.

Candidates should be PhD students or graduates with strong ML, data analysis, and big data tooling experience. You will collaborate with product managers, build prediction models, and contribute to growth strategies such as cold-start

Qualifications

• PhD in CS or related engineering discipline.
• Strong programming in C/C++ and Python; Linux multi-threaded/multi-process experience.
• Solid knowledge of ML/DL algorithms (e.g., deep learning, reinforcement learning).
• Strong math foundation: probability, statistics, numerical optimization.
• Experience with big data tools (Flink/Spark/Hive) and large-scale systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in optimization of LIVE monetization and LIVE experience for billions of users.
• Apply ML models to model user behavior and build high-performance services.
• Contribute to product discussions and provide data-driven optimization directions.
