Job summary

Atome is seeking a Detection Product Owner to own and drive the design, development, and continuous improvement of our real-time detection capabilities. This senior role sits at the intersection of data engineering, AI/ML, and risk operations, and involves guiding detection logic, signals, and scalable patterns across the platform.

You will lead the Detection Squad to translate detection priorities into actionable initiatives, reduce false positives, and ensure high coverage of system and user

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in real-time detection systems or AI/ML in production.
• Hands-on experience building and owning detection or anomaly systems.
• Experience with streaming data systems such as Kafka, Flink, or KDB/q.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end detection product and its logic, thresholds, and scoring frameworks.
• Lead the Detection Squad's daily execution, priorities, and delivery.
• Extract actionable signals from multi-source data (logs, user activity, metrics).
• Design and optimize real-time pipelines with low latency (seconds-level).
• Iterate on anomaly detection models and integrate ML with rule-based approaches.
• Translate detection requirements into precise specs for engineering teams.
