Job summary

GIC Private Limited in Singapore seeks an Analyst/Associate for the Asia Strategic Investments Group (ASIG) to support investment and asset/portfolio management in a pan-Asia mandate. You will screen opportunities, build financial models, and assist deal execution end-to-end.

Responsibilities include monitoring markets, evaluating trends, underwriting deals, and coordinating with managers and counterparties to inform investment themes.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of relevant experience in banking, investment, and/or asset management.
• Excellent quantitative and financial modelling skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to unpack complex situations and distil clear messages.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate investment opportunities through market research, financial analysis, investment feasibility, and recommendations to senior team members.
• Develop and maintain financial models to underwrite deals.
• Support deal execution end-to-end, including due diligence, structuring, documentation, and closing.
• Monitor markets to identify industry trends and inform underwriting and portfolio construction.
• Monitor portfolio performance and conduct regular reviews against underwriting and budget.
• Engage with third-party managers, counterparties, and intermediaries during underwriting and monitoring.
• Assist in formulating papers for new investment themes and strategies.
• Support senior team members in business development and sourcing prospective managers.
