React UI Engineer for Accessible, Scalable UIs

Job summary

You will contribute standards, build responsive accessible UIs, participate in UI testing, and ensure applications meet usability standards; familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including business, product, design, and development teams.
• Strong understanding of web fundamentals, including HTML and CSS.
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Proficient in UI testing and frontend testing practices.
• Proficient in one or more frontend frameworks/view libraries, such as ReactJS, VueJS, or Angular (version 4 and above).
• Experience with npm package publishing and package management.
• Experience in native application development, Progressive Web Applications (PWA), or hybrid application development.
• Experience developing accessible user interfaces for users of screen readers and other assistive technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable, scalable, and composable React components for use across multiple platforms.
• Analyze and translate business, product, and design requirements into functional and technical development specifications.
• Collaborate closely with business, product, design, and development teams to deliver high-quality user interfaces.
• Provide technical standards, best practices, and architecture recommendations for frontend development.
• Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces that provide a consistent user experience across platforms.
• Participate in UI testing and ensure frontend applications meet quality and usability standards.
