Job summary

IDC Technologies (Singapore) PTE. LTD. is looking for a frontend developer to craft reusable React components and translate business needs into clear specifications. You will guide architecture and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver accessible, high-quality frontend solutions.

Work with modern tooling (Vite, Webpack, TS/JS) and CSS libraries, ensure UI accessibility, and contribute to CI/CD, testing, and cross-platform frontend work across web and PWAs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to translate business and design requirements into frontend specifications.
• Experience building reusable React components for cross-platform use.
• Experience implementing accessibility best practices and testing UI for quality.
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling and build pipelines (Vite, Webpack, etc.).

Responsibilities

Develop reusable React components and translate business and design needs into functional specifications. Provide architecture guidance and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver accessible, high-quality frontend solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable and composable React components for cross-platform use
• Analyze and translate business and design requirements into detailed functional and development specifications
• Provide standards, best practices, and architecture recommendations to improve frontend development
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across business, product, design, and development teams using strong communication skills
• Apply deep understanding of web fundamentals including HTML and CSS to build robust user interfaces
• Write and maintain code proficiently in JavaScript and TypeScript to deliver scalable frontend solutions
• Design and execute UI testing to ensure quality and functionality of components
• Utilize one or more frontend view libraries such as ReactJS, VueJS, or Angular (version 4 and above) to build dynamic interfaces
• Manage npm package publishing processes to distribute reusable components
• Develop native applications, Progressive Web Apps (PWA), or hybrid apps to enhance user experience across devices
• Create accessible user interfaces compatible with screen readers and assistive technologies to support diverse users
• Apply visual design skills to enhance UI aesthetics and usability

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Design UI wireframes and mockups to support development and user experience
• Use modern web build tools such as Vite, Rsbuild, Webpack, Snowpack, Rollup, Parcel, tsc, or esbuild to optimize builds
• Work with CSS libraries including Tailwind, PandaCSS, StyleX, styled-components, SASS/SCSS, LESS, or PostCSS to style applications
• Implement analytics tracking using libraries like Adobe Analytics or Omniture to monitor user behavior
• Integrate Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes to streamline development workflows
• Contribute to open source projects to support community and enhance technical skills
