Job summary

ING is offering the WB Asia Internship Programme 2027 in the Rates Trading team within Financial Markets in Singapore. The six‑month internship runs January–June and focuses on supporting risk checks, reporting, and cash management while collaborating with traders on risk management, strategies, and P/L calculations.

You will engage in onboarding, development initiatives, cross-functional networking, and project showcases, gaining insight into rates trading and hedging within regulated processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have legal work rights in the country of internship.
• Self-driven in learning and process improvement.
• Intermediate understanding of Global Financial Markets.
• Basic understanding of derivatives.
• Strong command of Excel (VBA is a big plus).

Responsibilities

• Assisting with BAU tasks such as risk checks, reporting, and cash management.
• Working closely with traders to support risk management, trading strategies, and P/L calculations.
• Maintaining and improving existing files and processes; could be part of larger projects for the desk.
