Job summary

ING WB Asia Internship Programme 2027 in Singapore invites undergraduates in their 2nd to final year to join the Lending FI team for a 6-month internship. You will perform credit analysis, rating reviews, and assist in origination and documentation for banks and NBFI clients across the Asia region.

Qualifications

• 2nd to final year undergraduate with an interest in banking and finance.
• Basic understanding of how a wholesale bank operates and its business model.
• Ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision and a high level of initiative.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Copilot and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the FIL team to prepare credit analysis and rating reviews for banks and NBFI clients in Asia.
• Support FI sector coverage teams in origination and execution of facilities and new credit proposal/ratings.
• Portfolio management including Customer Due Diligence and client monitoring.
• Prepare communication for internal stakeholders (pipeline, transaction status, portfolio updates).
• Cooperate with other ING teams and assist on ad hoc projects as required.
