Job summary

general rail technology private limited is seeking an experienced Interface Coordinator for railway projects in Singapore. The role focuses on coordinating between LTA, SMRT, civil contractors, track and PSD teams to ensure seamless integration.

Candidates should have at least 5 years in engineering/construction, with railway/MRT project exposure and strong bilingual communication skills in Chinese and English. On-site presence and night-shift flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil or related disciplines).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in engineering and/or construction industry.
• At least 5 years experience in railway / MRT projects.
• Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Willing and able to work on-site, including night shifts or during track access hours when required.
• Strong command of both written and spoken Chinese and English, with proven ability to liaise with headquarters in China.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main interface coordinator between LTA, SMRT, civil contractors, track and PSD teams.
• Manage civil-to-PSD handover and ensure site readiness (survey, coring, track alignment, TVM status).
• Review and coordinate design interfaces; resolve clearance, alignment, and installation issues.
• Plan and control installation sequence (Civil → Survey → Coring → TVM → PSD).
• Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and track access with construction schedule.
• Manage site access, permits, and multi-contractor coordination.
• Track interface issues, mitigate risks, and drive timely resolution.
• Liaise with authorities and stakeholders for technical coordination and compliance.
• Support testing & commissioning, ensuring system integration readiness.
• Maintain interface documentation, reports, and progress tracking.
