Job summary

Sécheron Hasler Group, a Swiss railway technology leader, seeks a Field Service Engineer for our Singapore office to support the SEA region. After deep technical training in Europe, you will work on projects from the Singapore center with local support from experienced engineers.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of railway experience, proven electrical equipment knowledge (preferably DC traction power), and English fluency.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience in the railway industry.
• Proven experience with electrical equipment, preferably DC traction power equipment.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate service reports.
• Willingness to travel within South East Asia up to 1 week per month.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain the after-sales service of Sécheron Singapore.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, and renovations at the technical center or at customer sites.
• Perform troubleshooting and/or condition analysis on ESS devices to determine repairs.
• Prepare comprehensive intervention reports detailing work conducted and outcomes.
• Maintain workshop tools and instruments in proper condition.
• Collaborate with sales and customer support to promote service activities.
• Organize trips to customers and support project teams in Singapore or overseas.
• Supervise and verify on-site installation, testing and commissioning.
• Provide training for operators and maintenance staff at customer sites.
• Report modifications or issues to the project team and propose solutions.
• Create/update installation, operation, maintenance and commissioning documentation.
• Create training materials and deliver training as required.
• Support business development and local office improvements.
• Prepare detailed presentations for customers.
