A leading company in Singapore is looking for a Store Keeper to manage inventory and ensure security and cleanliness in the storeroom. The ideal candidate should possess at least a PSLE pass and preferably have experience in logistics and knowledge of material management systems. This role involves handling stock transactions and conducting regular stock checks to maintain an organized warehouse.
Responsibility
Perform Store duties and also to ensure that all stock transactions such as requisitions, transfers, and returns are based on authorized documents
Ensure the physical security of all items in the central warehouse and sub-store inventory
Optimize the utilization of the storage area available by storing the right item in the right place in accordance with their size, conditions weights, and discipline
Preserving all incoming materials and parts by using appropriate preservation materials to ensure that stock materials are always in good condition when taken out for use
To ensure the store location systems in the storage and up to date by regularly updating changes of location in the MMS system
Conduct physical stock checks and maintain a high standard of cleanliness, housekeeping and security in the storeroom area
Take good care of the ASRS and other Material handling equipment at the storage/bin area and ensure their availability for binning and retrieving materials
To feedback on all non-availability of required materials and other operation matters to the store supervisor for necessary action
to perform shift duty to support rail maintenance and operation activities
To maintain store security and cleanliness at all time
Requirements
Minimum PSLE pass
Preferably with logistic experience
Knowledge in material management system will be preferred
Require to work afternoon shift when scheduled
Singaporean only
