Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking a Mobile Coverage Engineer to design, implement, test, commission, and maintain mobile coverage systems for rail and urban deployments. You will work with DAS, BTS, Remote Units, fibre networks and RF components to meet project specs and safety requirements.

You will coordinate with MNOs, rail operators, consultants and subcontractors to ensure reliable coverage, perform RF site surveys, drive tests, and analyse KPIs while adhering to regulatory standards and quality

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications engineering.
Experience in RF engineering or DAS.
Familiarity with LTE, 5G NR, GSM, and RF propagation.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, implement DAS, BTS, RUs, fibre networks, RF feeders, antennas, and passive RF components.
Prepare system design documents, method statements, installation drawings, RF calculations and testing procedures.
Coordinate with MNOs on system integration, acceptance testing, and commissioning.
Conduct RF site surveys, drive tests, walk tests, and troubleshooting using industry tools.
Analyse KPIs such as RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, and throughput, and investigate RF issues.
Support FAT, SAT, ATP, IST, and ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
