The Client
Adecco is partnering with an organization that oversees planning, development, and regulation of land-based transport systems. The selected candidate is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of tracks to ensure safety and smooth operations. The ideal candidate is also responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of railway infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to safety standards.

The Job

• Updating standards and requirements for railway systems like heating, cooling, fire safety, plumbing, ventilation, and lifts
• Repairing and assessing tenders, reviewing design proposals from consultants and contractors, and managing site supervision, testing, and commissioning activities
• Setting engineering standards, managing the tendering process, supervising site activities, testing, and commissioning, and evaluating technologies for rail and road infrastructure, applications, and buildings

The Talent

• Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering expertise
• Experience in railway engineering or project management
• Experience in designing and overseeing mechanical systems
