Job summary

The National Cancer Centre Singapore is seeking a Radiography Assistant to support the Department of Oncology imaging. You will assist radiographers in patient pre and post procedure preparation and position patients for radiographic procedures to produce diagnostic images.

Applicants should hold a recognised degree in Diagnostic Radiography and be eligible for AHPC registration. Entry-level candidates are welcome as on-the-job training is provided, with a focus on safety and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiographers in patient pre and post procedure preparation.
• Position patients for radiographic procedures to produce diagnostic images.
• Identify basic anatomy and gross abnormalities.
• Correlate radiographic exams with clinical history.
• Operate imaging equipment safely; exclude exposure settings and patient exposure.
• Assist in daily quality control.
• Adhere to imaging safety guidelines.
• Identify and manage image data correctly and promptly.
• Provide good service and ensure patient experience is positive.
