Summary:
Our client, a reputable private healthcare provider, is seeking a Radiographer to join their team. The successful candidate will provide a full range of diagnostic imaging services, with a focus on X-ray, Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD), and Mammography. This role requires a commitment to high-quality imaging, patient care, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform diagnostic imaging services, particularly X-ray, BMD, and Mammography, in accordance with hospital SOPs and quality standards.
2. Ensure proper patient identification, confirm consent, and observe radiation safety protocols.
3. Deliver high-quality diagnostic images with correct labeling and documentation.
4. Accurately input examination codes and ensure procedures align with clinical requests.
5. Communicate clearly with patients, explaining procedures and providing reassurance throughout the imaging process.
6. Prioritize patient safety, attending to both physical and emotional needs during and after procedures.
7. Minimize unnecessary radiation exposure to patients, staff, and the public.
8. Provide after-hours and on-call imaging services when required.
9. Perform regular quality assurance checks and basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
10. Support other imaging modalities (e.g., fluoroscopy or OT) as needed.
11. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Radiology Manager.

Requirements:

1. Degree or Diploma in Radiography from a recognized institution.
2. Fully registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) and holds a valid practicing certificate.
3. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in diagnostic imaging, with hands-on expertise in X-ray, BMD, and Mammography.
4. Prior exposure to other modalities (e.g., CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy) is advantageous but not essential.
5. Experience managing specific modality areas may qualify candidates for senior-level consideration.
6. Familiarity with PACSs is added advantages.
