Job Description

The Department of Cardiac Radiology provides patients of NHCS with diagnostic radiological imaging services and invasive cardiology procedure imaging services. Diagnostic radiological imaging includes general radiography, mobile radiography, and CT scans. The CT team provides specialised Cardiac Scans for diagnostic, pre-procedural, and surgical planning. As part of the invasive cardiac angiography team, you will assist in procedures such as Coronary Angiography and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) at the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory and Hybrid Operating Theatre. As a radiographer in Cardiac Radiology, you may be required to perform afternoon shift work and be on-call for emergency cases on a rotational basis. You might also participate in patient feedback, quality management initiatives, and programmes.

Job Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography from a recognised institution.
  • Candidates with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience will have an advantage.
  • Applicants without relevant work experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided.
  • Documented proof of:
    • (i) Measles (or Mumps, Measles, and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity;
    • (ii) Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) vaccination taken within the preceding 10 years, as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act, effective from 3 January 2022. Applicants without these vaccinations are welcome to apply if they undertake to complete the vaccination(s) before work commencement upon successful interview and employment offer.
