Responsibilities

• Operate the CT simulator for treatment planning and CT image acquisition.
• Carry out daily QA procedures for the treatment machine and CT simulator.
• Explain procedures and possible side effects to patients.

Deliverables & Responsibilities

• Operate the linear accelerator and supporting treatment systems to treat patients in strict compliance with the prescription of a Radiation Oncologist and generate accurate documentation of the doses delivered.
• Transfer and input patient treatment plan and parameters into the systems.
• Operate the CT simulator to produce CT images for treatment planning purposes following the specific request of the attending Radiation Oncologist.
• Carry out daily QA procedures for the treatment machine and CT simulator.
• Explain to patients the procedures and possible side effects of treatment.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in radiation therapy.
• Min 2 years’ of relevant work experience.
• License to practice radiation therapy.
• Registered with Allied Health Profession Council (AHPC).
• Attention to detail and ability to master and troubleshoot technical machinery.
• Ability to maintain professionalism while working with sick patients.
• Salary package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
