Job summary

ALAN PARTNERS SG PTE. LTD. is seeking a Front Office Developer to join a collaborative team supporting quantitative and trading applications. You will build and enhance tools for pricing, risk analytics, market data and workflow automation.

You will combine strong software engineering with an interest in financial markets, delivering scalable solutions in a fast-paced front-office environment. The role emphasizes RAD strategies and close collaboration with Portfolio Managers and Traders.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python backend development for quantitative and trading applications.
• Strong experience building front-end interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Experience delivering front-office tools and analytics with scalable architectures.
• Ability to translate business requirements from Portfolio Managers, Traders and Quants into technical solutions.
• Comfortable working with cloud infrastructure, containers and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain internal trading applications and analytical tools.
• Build Python/FastAPI backend services for quantitative calculations and workflows.
• Create React/TypeScript UIs for risk dashboards and P&L analytics.
• Collaborate with front-office stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Support pricing, risk analytics and market data integration workflows.
