A leading bank seeks an expert in financial crime risk management for their Private Banking sector across Emerging Markets. In this critical role, you'll shape governance and advisory frameworks, ensuring compliance with global standards while mentoring teams and enhancing process efficiencies. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of experience in compliance and operational risk, alongside strong analytical and stakeholder management capabilities.
Details of the Division and Team:
To lead one of the Center of Competency for key non-financial risks for Private Banking Emerging Markets, with a focus on Financial Crime (Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know your client (KYC), Fraud prevention), Sanctions, Anti-Bribery and Corruption and Tax Integrity risks. This role ensures robust governance, advisory, and oversight across these critical risk domains, client services delivered in compliance with global and local regulatory expectations whilst supporting sustainable and compliant growth of the Private Banking business.
The role requires the candidate to spearhead the function together with the line manager for the EM business with Front Office presence across Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, India. The candidate will be required to steer appropriate outcomes, partner closely with key internal and external business partners as well as transformation team to ensure effective communication of risk management and tool enhancements / process improvements.
