R&D - Technical Market Analysis (Clinical Research / Patent Analysis)

Overview: This role will assist an R&D GBS Technical Market Analysis team based out of Hyderabad and be responsible for conducting scientific, competitive, market, and desk research, consumer testing, and new idea feasibility analysis. This role will support the overall Technical Market Analysis capability by coordinating with in-market teams as required for the provision of accurate and relevant research outputs.

Responsibilities:
• Identify and define the objectives of research projects and determine the best methods to meet those objectives.
• Perform market analysis, consumer needs identification, and desk research activities in line with global requests and ad hoc inquiries.
• Compile data related to competitors' products, strategies, channel dynamics, sales, marketing, R&D, or distribution methods.
• Perform benchmarking of R&D capabilities against industry peers.
• Summarize and analyze data, making recommendations based on findings.
• Process, document, and deliver requests within defined SLAs.
• Report findings with graphs and explanatory text, presenting complex data clearly.
• Review scientific research, search patents, and identify trends and technical directions.
• Conduct new idea feasibility analysis to generate insights for R&D advancement.
• Deliver reports and presentations in a concise, structured, storytelling manner to leadership.
• Foster relationships with other GBS Technical Market Analysis teams.
• Identify process improvements and employee upskilling opportunities.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required (Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Pharma, or other sciences); Master’s degree a plus.
• 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
