The Opportunity:

• Permanent role
• Work Location: Central
• Work Hour: 8:30am - 5:30pm

Adecco is partnering with a globally renowned Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturer to search for a R&D System Design Manager to support their R&D expansion. This ideal candidate will be someone with prior experience leading R&D projects as a System Lead and possess solid theoretical and experimental knowledge of physical optics, optical metrology, light sources and sensors, data analysis, and signal processing.

The Job:

• Define the top-level system specifications based on marketing requirements
• Identify system architecture choices and lead down-selection process
• Help build system performance model and error budget, allocate requirements to the subsystems, and optimize hardware/software solutions
• Create test plans, define required HW/SW setups, lead test design efforts, and manage execution
• Develop technical material for internal and external consumption
• Expand patent portfolio
• Coach team members

The Talent:

• Experience leading R&D or engineering teams with demonstrated success
• Solid theoretical and experimental knowledge of physical optics, optical metrology, light sources and sensors, data analysis, and signal processing
• Expertise in at least two of the following: optical microscopy, optical design, EM modeling, optical metrology, interferometry, ellipsometry, scatterometry, laser physics
• Hands-on skills in optical setups and willingness to use them
• Data analysis, physics, and system modeling capability
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
