Job summary

Keysight is seeking passionate R&D Software Engineers in Singapore to develop test automation tools and incorporate artificial intelligence into features. You will design software architecture, maintain and refactor code, optimize performance, and implement new capabilities.

A strong coder who loves to learn and adapt will thrive in this role. You will work across the stack, engaging in back-end, server-side, and front-end development, with opportunities to apply AI/ML ideas and modern software

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 3–5 years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least two of: Java, Python, NodeJS, ReactJS, TypeScript, C++, C# or AngularJS.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop product software, APIs, UI, tooling, automations and monitoring services on a defined platform and continue to expand the software features and capabilities to meet market needs.
• Develop new features and improvements using a wide variety of programming languages and technologies.
• Able to work on the full stack – back end, server-side development as well as front end development.
• Candidates with only back end, server-side development, or frontend development are encouraged to apply as well.
• Participate in Agile development process.
• Familiar with the software development life cycle from preliminary system analysis to test and deployment.
• Implement unit tests and automated regression tests to ensure software quality.
• Handle escalation from the support and consultancy teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Masters in Computer Engineering/Computer Science with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Highly proficient in at least two of the following: Java, Python, NodeJS, ReactJS, TypeScript, C++, C#, AngularJS
• Expertise with Micro-services framework, front-end development technologies, Object Oriented Programming
• Knowledge working with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
• Experience with network protocols such as HTTP(S), TCP/IP and UDP
• Solid understanding of how browsers work
• Added advantage for candidates with experience in using Eggplant Server and Eggplant Functional software.
• You must have a real passion for coding and a keen interest to continue learning and trying out new technologies.
• An interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning a plus
• Team player, positive attitude, passionate for continuous learning, self-motivator, good analytical and troubleshooting skills, communication skills, apply multiple technologies to creatively exceed the user’s expectations and drive business value
