• Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the adhesive, paint, chemical or related industries will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory testing and evaluation of trading products to ensure they meet the required quality, safety and performance standards.
• Develop and execute test plans, record experimental data, analyse results and prepare technical reports.
• Prepare, review and translate technical documents, including MSDS, TDS, QC reports and third-party testing reports.
• Maintain and update laboratory records, testing procedures and work instructions in accordance with ISO standards.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of laboratory testing results and related technical records.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the R&D Manager and Management.

Our client are looking for an R&D Chemist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory testing, evaluating product quality and performance, and preparing technical documentation to support the company's product development and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory testing and evaluation of trading products to ensure they meet the required quality, safety and performance standards.

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the R&D Manager and Management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering or a related discipline.

• Good analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret laboratory testing results.
