Responsibilities:
- Full lifecycle development from design to mass production of backend semiconductor equipment with high speed and high accuracy, including:
- Design requirements collection and analysis
- Conceptual design and verification, proof of concept
- Detailed design, 3D modeling (SolidEdge, SolidWorks, etc.), 2D drawings
- CAE analysis of vibration, thermal, fluid dynamics, etc.
- Procurement of prototype parts from internal and external sources
- Collaboration with production on fabrication, assembly, and testing; creating assembly and test procedures for mass production
- Addressing and resolving product issues; continuous product improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks, SolidEdge, ProE
- Proficient in CAE tools like ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation
- Self-motivated with the ability to learn mechanical engineering fundamentals independently, including:
- Vibration theories, measurement, isolation, damping
- Statics, dynamics, structural mechanics, materials, heat transfer, fluid dynamics
Knowledge of solenoid and pneumatic component selectionExperience with tolerance analysis, fabrication methods, DFM, DFAFresh graduates with relevant experience are welcomeWilling to travel abroad for business trips and work in multicultural environmentsProficient in written and spoken English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantageApplicants with more experience may be considered for a Senior Engineer role
