Job summary

Rapsodo Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on test engineer in Singapore to validate our embedded, mobile app, and cloud components. You’ll design end-to-end test cases, automate tests using a robotic setup, and analyze results with AI-assisted tooling.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in computer engineering, CS, or related fields, comfortable with Python, and have basic Linux skills. Strong reporting and curiosity about failures are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
• Comfortable with Python or an equivalent scripting language.
• Basic Linux literacy — command line, logs, filesystem.
• Curious about how things break and why tests fail.
• Able to communicate clearly in writing — test and bug reports.

Responsibilities

• Build an understanding of how embedded systems, mobile apps, and cloud services fit together to design end-to-end test cases.
• Build, maintain, and execute automated test cases using robotic test setup to drive devices through repeatable scenarios.
• Use AI tools to design test cases and analyze results, spotting coverage gaps.
• Coordinate and run end-user testing sessions, capturing results and feeding findings back to engineering.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines to enable earlier, faster test coverage with less manual work.

You’ll sit with the R&D team validating our golf launch monitors. Your focus is the device itself, but our product is an end-to-end system - firmware on the hardware, a mobile app, and cloud services behind it - and you’ll need to understand how those parts relate in order to design tests that reflect how the product is actually used. This is hands-on test engineering on real hardware, not scripted QA.

What You’ll Do

• Build an understanding of how our embedded systems, mobile apps, and cloud services fit together, and use that context to design test cases that reflect real end-to-end behaviour rather than isolated device checks.
• Build, maintain, and execute automated test cases using our robotic test setup, driving physical devices through repeatable scenarios.
• Use AI tools to help design test cases and analyse test results — identifying patterns across runs, narrowing down failures, and spotting coverage gaps.
• Coordinate and run end-user testing sessions with human testers, capturing results and feeding findings back to engineering.
• Optimise and automate our CI/CD pipelines so test coverage runs earlier, faster, and with less manual intervention.
