Heraeus Electronics is seeking a motivated R&D Engineer to join our team at the Pioneer office (shuttle bus provided). This role supports the development of new products and the improvement of existing solutions through hands‑on laboratory work, data analysis, and implementation of new testing methodologies. The position plays a key role in driving innovation, ensuring product quality, and collaborating across functions in a dynamic environment. Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for a Senior Engineer position
Key Responsibilities:
Lead customer‑driven (CD) projects and second‑source qualification initiatives, including project planning, execution, regular stakeholder alignment, and technical reporting
Support new product development activities, including participation in technical discussions, resource planning, and experimental design
Assist in laboratory trial runs, including hands‑on work, troubleshooting, data collection, and analysis
Prepare and maintain clear and accurate documentation, reports, and test records
Support customer sample requests and ensure timely and accurate delivery
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, laboratory standards, and good housekeeping practices
Provide technical support for internal stakeholders and external requirements
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams to support product development and troubleshooting
Support administrative tasks, including SAP data updates, documentation control, and laboratory cleanliness
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and perform other assigned duties as required
Job Requirement:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemistry, Metallurgy, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment
Basic knowledge of material science, assembly materials (e.g., paste, powder, flux), or related applications
Familiarity with data analysis methods and statistical tools
Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
Basic project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of data and documentation
Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team
Comfortable working in both laboratory and office environment
