Qualifications

• Requires a Diploma/Bachelors in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in cost estimation, quotations, or manufacturing processes preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar design software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements, technical specs, and drawings to prepare accurate quotations.
• Evaluate material costs, labor, and production processes to determine pricing.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement to ensure cost effective solutions.
• Review RFQs and assess feasibility based on capabilities.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and pricing proposals for approval.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality requirements, and company policies in cost estimation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest process improvements to profitability.
• Maintain and update the quotation database with pricing records.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing on materials and services.
• Support sales with technical insights and pricing justifications.
• Track and follow up quotations to convert to orders.
