Job summary

Applicants should have completed post-graduate MEMS coursework with top grades, hands-on microfabrication experience, and publications. English proficiency is essential; familiarity with Lumerical, COMSOL, or ANSYS is desirable.

Qualifications

• Have learned MEMS, Sensors, Waveguide Photonics or Quantum Sensors in related courses for one semester at post-graduate level and earned score of A- or better.
• Strong background in hands-on microfabrication techniques at clean room and with journal publications showing such evidences
• With 1 year and more experience in making and testing MEMS/NEMS.
• Good knowledge in Lumerical; COMSOL or ANSYS;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Having more than 3 1st-authored international peer-reviewed journal papers

Responsibilities

• Work on hands-on experiments for design and fabrication of MEMS/NEMS and quantum sensors.
• Design and fabrication of Quantum Sensors
• Design and Fabrication of Nanomechanics for Quantum Applications
• Design and Fabrication of Waveguide based quantum sensing
• Design and Fabrication of NEMS Sensors
• Testing and characterization of quantum sensors
• Write 2 or more research papers in top journals like Nature Communications
